This pamphlet proves that Joseph Smith took Sarah Ann Whitney as a secret plural wife, but performed a "pretended" marriage ceremony between her and Joseph Kingsbury to cover up his own iniquity.

Mercer, Ph.D. Mr. Spalding sent the Book of Abraham (containing the fascimiles purpoted to have been copied from the writings of Abraham) to 8 prominent Egyptologists and Semitists and asked them to pass judgment on the translation made by Joseph Smith.
